Stereolithography of (meth)acrylate‐based photocurable resin: Thermal and mechanical properties

Additive manufacturing (AM) has attracted a lot of attention in the industry and studies due to ability fabricate parts different sizes shapes along with economic costs. Among three-dimensional (3D) printing methods, stereolithography (SLA) is becoming an important method. The objective this work investigate effect sub-build orientations acrylate-based 3D SLA rapid-prototyping photosensitive resin concerning UV thermal post-curing on mechanical properties. Key role polymerization as determining factor final properties was shown. results indicate turning cured by orientations. Furthermore, process performed order complete curing unreacted monomers. show In addition, up 98% for at 80°C achieved. maximum tensile strength amount sub-building orientation 45°, 0°, 90°.
